Builder Grade Shower to Custom Remodel in Lynnwood, WA
This Lynnwood bathroom remodel replaced an outdated builder-grade shower with a custom travertine tile shower, pebble stone floor, and warm white oak vanity for a modern natural look.

Project Overview
The existing bathroom had outdated materials and visible water damage, creating an uncomfortable and unhealthy environment. Our team worked closely with Sherman and Jennifer to design a new bathroom that felt fresh, natural, and calming, while solving all the moisture and ventilation problems that caused the earlier issues.
Sherman and Jennifer first reached out to us after reading our online reviews while researching bathroom remodeling companies in Lynnwood.
Their main concern was moisture issues that had started developing around their builder-grade 36×48 shower insert. Over time the unit had begun to yellow and trap moisture, and they were worried that the underlying problems could eventually lead to bigger damage.
At the same time, the vanity area wasn’t very practical either, with an overmount sink and a short faucet that made the space awkward to use every day.
During the design phase, we worked closely with Sherman and Jennifer to create a bathroom that would not only solve the moisture problems but also feel warm, natural, and comfortable to use.
Jennifer especially loved the look of natural stone textures, so a pebble stone shower floor quickly became one of the key design elements. To complement it, we selected travertine shower wall tile in a soft tone that pairs beautifully with the rest of the bathroom.
To improve functionality, we installed a vertical shower niche that provides convenient storage for soaps and shampoos without cluttering the shower. The space was finished with sliding glass shower doors and a detachable handheld shower faucet, giving the bathroom a modern and practical feel.
Outside of the shower, we installed new baseboard trim, a new toilet, and a beautiful white oak vanity that adds warmth and natural character to the space.
The vanity also solved the original usability issue, creating a more comfortable and functional setup for everyday use.
Once construction was completed, our team performed a full final cleanup so the bathroom was ready to enjoy immediately.
Sherman and Jennifer were thrilled with the transformation and even shared their experience working with us in a video testimonial, something we always consider the best compliment after finishing a project.
