Custom Tile Bathroom Remodel in Everett, WA
This bathroom remodel started with removing a heavy cast iron bathtub and rebuilding the space with a clean, modern design. The custom shower features a mix of wood-look tile, subway tile, and a pebble stone floor, paired with black fixtures for contrast.

Project Overview
The original bathroom was tight, dark, and outdated, making it difficult to use efficiently. The goal was to open up the feel of the space without changing the layout, while also introducing rich design elements that would make the bathroom stand out. A big part of this project’s success came from the time spent in the design phase, experimenting with colors, tile combinations, and natural materials until everything worked perfectly together.
The homeowners first reached out to us after exploring our website and learning more about our work. What started as a bathroom remodel quickly turned into a larger project, and they ultimately trusted us to remodel both their bathroom and kitchen.
From the beginning, both homeowners were very design-oriented and had a clear vision of what they wanted. Our designer helped establish a strong foundation for the layout and overall direction, and the homeowners took an active role in selecting all the finish materials.
Because of their decisiveness and clarity, the entire design process moved efficiently, and we completed the final renderings in just two weeks.

Once all materials arrived on site, we began construction by carefully protecting the home with floor coverings and dust barriers to keep everything clean throughout the process.
One of the most memorable parts of this project was removing the existing cast iron bathtub. It was one of the heaviest tubs we’ve encountered, requiring us to cut it in place and remove it in sections, a process that took nearly half a day. Once the tub was out, the rest of the demolition and preparation moved smoothly.
We kept the original layout but rebuilt the entire space from the ground up. After completing the Schluter waterproofing system, we moved into tile installation. The homeowners selected a unique combination of materials that truly defines the space.
The shower features wood-tone tile on the main wall, subway tile on the side walls, and a pebble stone shower floor, creating a layered and visually interesting design. The bathroom floor was finished with hexagon tile, adding texture and tying the space together.
We installed a black rain shower system with a detachable handheld, matching the rest of the fixtures throughout the bathroom and giving the space a bold, modern contrast.
Another standout feature of the project is the custom-built shelving, designed specifically to store bathroom essentials while maintaining a clean and organized look.
Every detail reflects the homeowners’ vision, and the combination of textures and materials creates a space that stands out while still feeling balanced and functional.
