From Bulky Tub to Modern Shower in Bothell, WA
This bathroom remodel in Bothell began as a simple bathtub-to-shower conversion but quickly turned into a full bathroom transformation. The new design features large 24×48 shower wall tiles with minimal grout lines, hexagon tile accents, and modern black fixtures.

Project Overview
Before the remodel, the small bathroom featured a yellowed tub surround, worn fixtures, and poor layout that limited functionality. The homeowners reached out to 360 House Remodeling to design a space that looked modern and felt more open without changing the footprint. Our team focused on a clean design with durable, low-maintenance materials and subtle luxury details that elevate the entire space.
Stacy first reached out to us after coming across our Google reviews while researching bathroom remodeling companies in Bothell.
Her main concern was the bathtub in her bathroom. The bulky tub took up too much space and made the shower area feel cramped and uncomfortable to use.
Initially, she was only looking for a bathtub-to-shower conversion, but as we began working through the design process together, she realized the entire bathroom could benefit from a full update.
During the design phase, Stacy worked closely with our team and our interior designer to select finishes that would give the bathroom a clean and modern feel while still staying practical for everyday use. Once the design and materials were finalized, we were ready to begin construction.
We started by demolishing the bathroom down to the studs, giving us a clean slate to rebuild the space properly. The new shower quickly became the highlight of the remodel.
We installed large 24×48 shower wall tiles, which allow for minimal grout lines and clean look. The hexagon tile on the shower floor was chosen to complement the matching hexagon niche, adding texture and visual interest to the design.
Black fixtures and hardware were installed throughout the bathroom, creating a bold contrast against the lighter tile and finishes.
Beyond the shower, the remodel also included new bathroom floor tile, a new vanity, updated fixtures, and fresh paint throughout the space. Each element was carefully selected to keep the design cohesive and modern.
The final result is a bright, functional bathroom that feels much more open and comfortable to use.
Stacy was thrilled with the transformation and even shared a video about her experience working with our team, something we always consider the best compliment after completing a project.
