When the homeowners purchased this Bothell home, they knew it needed a complete transformation before they could move in. The house had not been updated in more than 30 to 40 years and was in very poor condition. Instead of doing small updates, they decided to fully remodel the home so it would be comfortable, functional, and ready for their family for many years.

We started by stripping the home down and removing decades of outdated finishes. Old drywall and layers of wallpaper from the 1980s were removed throughout the house. From there, we rebuilt the interior with fresh drywall, new LVP flooring throughout the home, updated lighting, and a fully remodeled kitchen featuring new cabinetry, countertops, and GE appliances.

One of the bathrooms was in such poor condition that it was completely unusable. We gutted the space and rebuilt it from scratch with a new bathtub, vanity, mirror, and toilet, creating a clean and functional bathroom that fits the rest of the remodeled home.

The basement required the most structural work. The space had very limited height and only a thin layer of concrete flooring. To make the basement usable, we demolished the slab and lowered the floor by 12 inches, increasing the ceiling height and making the space comfortable for everyday use. After completing the structural work, we built out a new bedroom, bathroom, and playroom, turning the basement into valuable living space for the family.

From planning and design to construction, the project completely transformed the home. What was once an outdated house is now a modern, comfortable home ready for the homeowners to move in and enjoy. When they finally walked through the finished space, they were thrilled with the result.
